Happy Easter!

This has been a memorable Easter to be sure!  On Thursday we went over to Danny & Lori's for and egg hunt with Jeramey's family.  I should have taken a picture because it was hilarious to see the 9 grandchildren running around the yard, treats everywhere, with a look that said "What do I grab first?!"
On Saturday we had a little egg hunt of our own and the girls found a surprise that wouldn't fit in a plastic egg...

Spoiled?  Yes!  But I put all the blame on Jer!  Originally he wanted to get this for them for Christmas but I thought it would be mean to give it to them, excite them, and then not let them ride it for 4 months.  So Easter was the compromise.  They do love it though!  The battery on this thing has a 3hr life between charges and the girls drove it around for 2 1/2 hrs straight their first time in it.  Brooklynn is a surprisingly good little driver too.  And Brynlee is quite content riding along, so far.
Later that afternoon we went over to my Mom & Dad's for an egg hunt with Johnathan and Joseph.  My mom did a wonderful job hiding the eggs.  Brooklynn drove the Jeep around while everyone else collected the eggs and put them in the trunk!  We'll see how much of the candy the girls end up with while Jeramey's around!

Other Info, my school semester is almost over--Thank Heaven!!  I will be going to school this summer too though so I'll definitely enjoy my 5 day break in between.  Jer is still really busy at work and softball is starting up again soon so he can't wait.  Brooklynn is doing great in Preschool and enjoying her Spring Break right now.  Brynlee just can't wait for this fall so she can go to school too.  I'm sure I'll be able to distract her with the swimming pool this summer though.
I hope all is well with you and your families and that you have had a wonderful Easter!
