Spring Break

I cannot believe it's almost Easter & that we are already almost 5 months in to this year!  Time is going by too fast!  This last week was the girls Spring Break & also a super busy week at work for me, but we still found time to have some adventures.

We went to Monkey Island, which is a little blow up slide play place by our house!  I highly recommend it, not to mention it's half the price of Kangaroo Zoo & just as fun!  We went with some friends of mine & their kids.  The first picture is the girls with Sky, the girls are so in love with him, they want him to be their little Bro.

Brooklynn loved that they had a monkey wandering around to say hi to the kids but once Brynlee saw her she took off to hide in the slides & behind walls.  She wanted no part of the monkey!  When I asked her if she would be scared of someone dressed up like Sulley from Monsters Inc or Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story at Disneyland she said "No Mom, I love Sulley & Buzz!" (of course this was said in the most condescending voice ever, like duh mom!)

I am seriously horrible at taking pictures of myself!

We also made a visit to the BYU Dinosaur Museum, which turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought, seeing as I was taking girls!  ~Make sure to notice Brynlee's random faces she kept pulling in all of these pictures, she can be such a ham!~

They have this cool little area where you can watch through a window & see the actual students/professors cleaning the bones brought in from recent digs.  Unfortunately there was only one guy in the corner working when we were there.

If you're wondering why this is the first picture you're seeing of Brooklynn it's because she insisted the entire time that I was not to take any pictures of her while at the museum (weird, I know).  Well we were getting ready to walk out & she turns to these rocks, points & starts laughing hysterically, so I snapped one while she was distracted.  When I asked her what was so funny she said that this rock looked like it had Mac & Cheese powder dumped all over it.  And it kinda does!

We also had some fun with a little home fashion show.  This was Brooklynn's favorite outfit, ha ha!

By the end of the week we were all pretty exhausted but Brooklynn takes the cake, she fell asleep at the computer!
