Easter

Easter snuck up on me to say the least this year!  But luckily the grandmas were there to bail me out!  We went over to Jer's parents home to have an Easter hunt with all the cousins.

Love this photo of Brooklynn, she looks so grown up!

Each time Brynlee would bend over to pick something out her pants would about fall off.  Time to find a tiny person belt!!

Jer "helping" the girls pick up stuff!  (wink, wink)
And yes I realize I look weird without Mascara but what do ya do!?

We have 10 grandkids on that side so it was crazy and fun!
Boston loved her basket, especially the bunny!  It's her new favorite chew thing, ha ha!

On Sunday we went to church with my parents & had a lunch after!  And the girls were spoiled again with more Easter treats from my family!
We had Haylie, Rachel, Alexa & Ben, our Martin Family & then my little family there!  We had a blast just catching up & hanging out.  We did miss having our brother Ben there though, he's out living in Maryland but commuting to Philadelphia selling security systems for a company called Vivint this summer.  The girls, who already miss Andrew like crazy, were so sad that they were going to have to say goodbye to Ben for the summer.  When I first told them they started crying & saying "Why does Ben have to go on another Mission?"  Ha ha, I then explained this was for work, not church!  They are much more okay with this since they can call him whenever they want.  My brothers are more than just uncles to them, their more like big brothers.  I am super jealous though because not only does Ben get to go play back east all summer but he is also going to have an opportunity to meet up with Andrew & go teach some missionary lessons with him & his companion.

Mother's Day is in 12 days & I am soooo excited to talk to Andrew!  I've already warned him that if he calls before 6pm Mountain time & I am still at work I will track him down & call him at 10:30 pm just like I did last Mother's Day!  It's actually a pretty funny story.  I got off work & went over to my parents & they told me that they had spoken to Andrew earlier in the day, which lead to me breaking down & bawling hysterically because I missed him so bad & was now going to have to wait 'til Christmas to talk to him. Once I calmed down I realized that they had probably called from their home so I found the number on the caller ID & called it back, not quite following missionary guidelines, ha ha!  No answer...  So I left this message "Hi this is Sister Street (trying not to give away that I'm his sister) it's very important that I speak with Elder Andrew Martin as soon as possible, please have him call me!"  About 15 min later I get this phone call from Andrew, his companion & listened to the message & told Andrew he should really call this lady back because she sounded like she had been crying!  So I got my own little 10 min phone call & that got me through to Christmas!

How's that for a tangent?!  Bring it back in, Happy Spring to everyone & I hope your Easters were beautiful filled with lots of candy & remembrance of the reason for the season, ha ha!  God Bless!
