Taylor Swift

I know it's been forever since my last update but September has been a super busy month.  I feel like it's taken much longer than it should have to get re-acclimated to the school schedule & everything that comes with fall.  However, I do love that things are a little more calm compared to summer. 

The highlight of September though was that after 5 months of waiting the Taylor Swift concert finally happened on September 28th. 

The girls had so much fun, so did Jer & I! When there are so many "not good"role models in the music & entertainment world it is so refreshing to have someone like Taylor Swift that I can be 100% fine with my girls idolizing & wanting to emulate.  Plus she puts on an AMAZING concert.  I almost feel like the word concert doesn't do it justice it was more like a LasVegas show, there were dancers, acrobats, amazing scenery, a storyline...  It was fantastic!

The girls really wanted to dress-up like Taylor for the concert so I took a trip to the fabric store & made them some dresses like the gold dress Taylor wears when she opens the concert. 

They also wore boots, had 13 written on their hand with marker & a purple ribbon tied around their wrist just like Taylor does for her concerts. 

We got there so early there were just a handful of people in their seats.

Taylor has a song called Enchanted, it was the inspiration for their poster!

Brynlee kept pulling silly faces every time I brought out the camera.

By the end of the night Brooklynn was still having a blast but Brynlee conked out about 2/3 of the way through the show.

Definitely a night that none of us will ever forget!  Can't wait for the next time she comes to town!
