Merry Christmas

Well all my plotting, saving & sale shopping paid off because this Christmas turned out to be one of our best!  Let me just get straight to the pictures....

Notice that the entire bottom half of our tree is minus some ornaments, ha ha!
Boston kept grabbing them so by Christmas Day most of them were sitting up top!

The Girls thought it was so hilarious that they got underwear in their stockings!
What could be better than a candy cane!
Apparently nothing...
I love this picture, especially when you see Boston in the background grabbing her stocking like her life depends on it!
For those of you who don't already know Jer loves to take baths, he always has & I always give him a hard time about it being more of a "girl" thing.  Well to help him relax even more in his baths I got him this bath pillow which was followed up that afternoon by some Batman Bubble Bath from my Mom!  Ha ha, it was so great!
Boston of course spent the morning scavenging for candy!

We were so excited to get the girls bats so they can play at the ball park this summer, seeing as it's our second home!
Unfortunately softball was not what Brynlee had in mind when she opened her bat....
"Yes, a bat to hit bad guys with..... (1 min later) Oh & we can play softball too."  You gotta love kids!
Brynlee was super excited about her watch, especially that it doubles as a pair of binoculars!

The special gifts that the girls asked Santa for this year were for Brynlee the "Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle" & for Brooklynn the famed American Girl Doll look-a-like.  And they were very very good this year so Santa kept up his end of the bargain!

Seeing as the castle takes 1-2 hrs to put together Santa was super smart & put it together in the other room so Brynlee wouldn't have to wait to play with it.

And lucky for Santa because when Jer tried to get her to smile for a picture Brynlee's response was "Shhh Dad I'm trying to focus!"  Apparently you only have to be really good 'til Santa comes, ha ha!

Brooklynn was so excited that her doll looked just like her!
She even named it what she wishes we named her Mckenna Taylor Street.
For this present Jer & I tested out our crafty skills & he built the doll bed while I sewed the bedding!
It turned out surprisingly well!  The duvet style mattress is my favorite part!

Unforutnatley the doll isn't the only one who really likes the bed...
Later Christmas Day we made the rounds stopping at Jer's parents, his Grandma Diane, his Grandma Janice, at his Grandma Elaines & last but not least my parents.  We had a yummy dinner & were lucky enough to get to talk with Andrew!  I have missed him so much over the last two years & could not be more excited for him to come home!  We're counting down the days!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas & Happy New Year!

Unfortunatley I failed again this year to get our Christmas cards sent out in time so better late than never!
